Two men in their twenties have been arrested over the shooting of an eight year old girl with an airgun on Auckland's North Shore.
An airgun pellet lodged deep in the child's thigh in the incident, in Marlborough Park, in the suburb of Glenfield, in February.
One of the men has been charged with firing an airgun and wounding the girl while the other has been charged with being an accessory after the fact.
Police say the arrests follow a lengthy investigation and both men will appear in court later this month.
