A fire in a furnishing factory in Christchurch was brought under contol on Friday night.
Several fire appliances were called out to the blaze at the Hubbers Furnishing factory building on Blenheim Rd at about 7.20pm. It took crews about an hour to get the blaze under control.
A Fire Service spokesperson says the fire caused damage mainly to the back of the two-storey building, which was being renovated.
Investigators have been trying to establish the cause of the blaze.
