A four-week-old baby died on Saturday after being run over by a car in her grandparents' driveway in west Auckland.
A police spokesperson says the accident happened at about 1.30pm in Titirangi.
The spokesperson says the baby girl was being held by her mother on the driveway when the car began rolling backwards.
The baby's mother was knocked over, dropping the baby, who was run over by the car.
