Cricket trophies and memorabilia dating back more than 80 years may have been lost in a fire at the Counties-Manukau Cricket Association.
The fire started at the front pavilion side of the wooden building before moving to the roof about 4.40am on Tuesday.
Fire appliances spent almost five hours at the site.
The building is more than 100 years old and made of wood. It housed honours boards, records and trophies dating back to 1927, but it is not known what has been destroyed.
