Thirty four vehicles with outstanding fines totalling $77,000 have been seized by police this weekend in Waitakere City.
Police say 10,360 vehicles were stopped during a two night operation which ended at 4am on Sunday.
A total of 71 drivers were detected driving with excess breath alcohol.
Police say 23 drivers had their licenses suspended and another 15 were arrested for a variety of offences including breach of bail and driving while disqualified.
