Police will return to bush near Kerikeri on Saturday morning to continue a search for a Morrinsville farmer who has been missing since the middle of last month.
Amanjeet Bains, 29, a third generation Indian New Zealander, was last seen at his home.
Police believe he travelled to Warkworth on 18 April, stopping in Auckland on the way.
His car was noticed the next day in a secluded area near Whangaroa Harbour.
The area has since been searched four times, including from the air.
Detective Sergeant Rod Carpinter says concerns for Mr Bains grow the longer he remains unaccounted for.
