Fourteen more appointments have been made to Auckland's super-city council.
All but two of the latest appointments have gone to managers currently working in the eight Auckland local bodies that will be merged in November.
The council's interim chief executive and five of the seven previously-named senior managers have come from outside the Auckland local body circle.
Sections of the 8000-strong workforce in Auckland will start to be briefed over coming weeks on how their areas will be re-structured.
Another 4000 are still waiting to find out what is happening to their roles.
