All Whites and Phoenix football coach Ricki Herbert has won the Wellington sportsperson of the year award.
Herbert was been named coach of the year.
World champion yachtie Karl Purdie was sportsman of the year and Paralympic cycling champion Paula Tesoriero was sportswoman of the year.
The Wellington Phoenix was named sports team of the year and striker Paul Ifill personality of the year.
