Police have arrested a young woman in relation to the armed robbery of a West Auckland takeaway shop, where a group made off with more than 50 icecreams.
Five young people were caught on security footage on 29 May going into the Ranui Food Bar and Takeaway in Henderson armed with a firearm, a knife and a hammer.
The youths were unable to get into the till but stole icecreams.
The police say the 18 year old woman has appeared in Waitakere District Court charged with aggravated robbery and has been remanded in custody until Monday.
