Police in Counties Manukau have arrested a man and seized tens of thousands of dollars in cash and a firearm, following a drugs bust in Pukekohe.
Detective Senior Sergeant Dave Lynch says officers searched a property in the Buckland area on Thursday and located methamphetamine and utensils used to make the Class A drug.
He says $30,000 was also located.
A 39-year-old man has been arrested and faces four charges, including possession of methamphetamine for supply.
He is due to appear in Pukekohe District Court on Friday.
