The driver of a car that struck and killed a four-year-old boy in Christchurch last month has been charged by the police.
Nayan Woods, his younger brother and mother were walking along Linwood Avenue when a car crashed into them.
A teenage driver has been charged with dangerous driving causing death and injury, and with operating a modified vehicle that was not certified and was liable to cause injury.
He will appear in Christchurch District Court on 28 July.
