A man has been charged with murder over the fatal shooting of South Auckland man Keith Kahi.
Mr Kahi, 44, was found on a driveway in Tullis Place, near the suburb of Botany Downs, on Sunday evening.
He had been shot several times, and died later in hospital.
Glenn McDonald, 42, was remanded in custody after being charged in the Manukau District Court with murdering Mr Kahi.
Officers were earlier seeking Mr McDonald in connection with the death. His car was found in a central city carpark on Thursday and he made contact with police on Friday.
He appeared in court wearing a police-issue boilersuit.
