A bomb disposal team has established that two grenades found on a rural property near Hamilton on Tuesday afternoon were not live.
Explosive Ordinance Disposal officers declared the devices inert two hours after furniture removers discovered them in drawers in the garage.
Armed police were originally called to the property on Monday after a standoff between the new owners and members of a gang.
Police say the previous tenant was well known to them.
