Police are investigating whether the theft of three puppies is linked to the killing of a Feilding farmer.
Mr Guy, 31, was found dead by a member of the public on Thursday, 8 July, at his property on Aorangi Road.
Three of the six chocolate Labrador puppies he advertised for sale were missing that morning.
Detectives say they're unable to explain the disappearance of the dogs and are asking the public to help find them.
They were last seen at 5pm on 7 July. The puppies were kept in an outbuilding about 80 metres away from where Mr Guy was shot.
