Police say they are no longer looking for the gang member who has been the focus of a number of armed police raids in Auckland.
The Organised Crime Unit carrried out armed searches in the suburb of Grey Lynn on Friday looking for Daniel Vae, whom they said was becoming increasingly violent.
Police say they arrested two men in Glenfield on Tuesday with the help of the Armed Offenders Squad.
They have not named the men but say that, because of the arrests, they are no longer looking for Mr Vae.
