New Zealand junior shot putter Jackson Gill has won silver at the Youth Olympics in Singapore after managing two personal best throws.
Gill, the world junior champion, is two years younger than his rivals. He has been suffering from a virus since arriving at the Games, but still managed two personal best throws.
It brings New Zealand's medal tally to five with four days remaining.
At least one more will be added when boxer Joseph Parker takes on Frenchman Tony Yoka in the final of the super heavyweight boxing competition.
There's also a prospect of a bronze medal in the junior women's hockey, where New Zealand will take on Korea in a play-off for third-place.
