Name suppression has been lifted for the man accused of killing a Wellington woman in her home.
John Hone Haerewa, 52, reappeared in Wellington District Court on Thursday charged with murdering Allison McPhee between 22 and 28 July.
Police withdrew a charge of possession of cannabis.
Judge Bruce Davidson remanded Mr Haerewa in custody to reappear in court in October.
