Police have recovered the body of a Bay of Islands man who has been missing for a fortnight.
Earle Raison, 48, was last seen two weeks ago after he had been drinking at the Russell Boating Club and a friend's house.
His body was found washed up on the shoreline of Te Puna Inlet on Friday afternoon.
Police believe Mr Raison tried to row his dinghy across Matauwhi Bay to his yacht, but fell out and drowned.
The death has been referred to the coroner.
