A truck spilt cream along State Highway 1 in Northland on Thursday morning, and a northbound stretch of the road was temporarily closed.
The road is now open again, but police say a 500-metre stretch on the Brynderwyns is creamy and extremely slippery, and motorists are advised to take great care.
