The Ministry of Health is considering changes to the way it funds the homecare of disabled people.

It is also joining the Home Health Association, ACC and Standards New Zealand in a review of mandatory minimum standards in the care sector.

Associate health minister Jonathan Coleman told an Auckland audience on Thursday morning that there are significant implications for providers and services in the changes to funding of care for disabled people.
