Transport Minister Steven Joyce is to visit the Fox Glacier community after Saturday's fatal air crash.
Five local people and four tourists were killed when a skydiving plane crashed and burst into flames after take off.
The minister's office says Mr Joyce is travelling to Fox Glacier to show solidarity with the community.
It says he will also again offer condolences on behalf of the Government.
Post-mortems on the nine bodies were completed in Auckland on Tuesday. Police hope to positively identify at least one of the dead on Wednesday.
