A post-mortem is being carried out on the body of a man found in a shed in a central Wellington suburb.
Detective Senior Sergeant Dave Thornton says the man has yet be formally identified.
The occupants at a Mt Victoria house discovered the body in a shed at the rear of the property about 6pm on Monday.
Mr Thornton says a scene investigation was carried out on Tuesday but police will not be able to say if the death is suspicious until the post-mortem is completed.
