A man arrested after a three-day manhunt in the King Country was to appear in Hamilton District Court on Wednesday.
Te Rangi Trangmar, 24, had been at large since Sunday, following a series of firearms offences in Waitomo and Otorohanga.
He was arrested behind a pub in the settlement of Te Anga about 3am on Wednesday after a patrol noticed a light on.
He is facing charges of presenting a firearm, commission of a crime with a firearm, aggravated robbery and commission of a burglary with a firearm.
Police say further charges are likely.
