Man faces extradition to Gold Coast on murder charge

A man has appeared in the North Shore District Court facing extradition to Australia, on a charge of murder.

Daniel Thomas Dwyer was found dead in August last year in a flat on the Gold Coast at Biggera Waters.

David Galloway, 19, was arrested at Glenfield on Saturday. He is one of three people charged with Mr Dwyer's murder.

He appeared in the North Shore District Court on Monday and was remanded in custody until an extradition hearing on Tuesday.

Detective Inspector Tim Trezise of the Gold Coast CIB, says two other men are already in custody.

One of them, Malakai Lui, 19, of Auckland, was extradited to Australia last month on a charge of murder.
