Police say charges are likely to be laid over a Greenpeace protest that caused hundreds of workers to evacuate the Fonterra building in Auckland.
Police say during the protest an unidentified box was left chained to a handrail in a building elevator on Thursday.
Some 850 people had to be evacuated, with police specialist services called in to investigate the box, which was later found to be non-threatening.
Police say the behaviour of the protesters was irresponsible and unnecessarily consumed a lot of emergency services. Charges are likely to be laid.
Fonterra on Thursday announced its second-highest ever payout for milk, as well as record exports and a bigger profit.
