The Fire Service is working with the police to find an arsonist after a blaze gutted a child care centre in the Auckland suburb of New Lynn on Saturday evening.
Around 60 fire fighters battled the blaze at the building in Rankin Road.
Asbestos in the roof required fire officers to be decontaminated after the fire was put out.
The Fire Service says it appears the blaze was suspicious and says it is jointly investigating with the police.
