One person has died and another is unaccounted for after a house fire in the Auckland suburb of Papatoetoe.
The Fire Service says one firefighter burned his hands while trying to put out the blaze, and has been taken to hospital.
The fire has been put out.
It is the second fatal house fire in Auckland in days. On Saturday night, one person died in a blaze in Otahuhu.
