Man missing nine months: reward offer renewed

The Crimestoppers organisation has extended a reward offer for information about the mysterious disappearance of a Nelson man in January.

No sign has been found of 19-year-old Leo Lipp-Neighbours or his distinctive bright orange Toyota Corolla station-wagon since he was seen at a friend's flat.

Police and family and friends have searched roadsides in the South Island, believing his car may have run off the road.

Crimestoppers says its $10,000 reward offer will be extended by six months.
