Search on for Rugby World Cup volunteers

6:32 pm on 11 November 2010

Thousands of volunteers for jobs at next year's Rugby World Cup have just a few weeks to convince organisers they are up to the job.

Organisers touring the country want to select up to 6000 people in 23 centres to help with tasks such as catering, hosting, transport and match operations.

More than 10,000 people have applied.

The selection process involves a presentation, security check, uniform sizing and short interview.

The process should be completed by the end of the month, with successful applicants notified in the new year.
