Police have arrested eight men alleged to have been involved in an organised crime group in the Wellington region.
On Wednesday, 13 search warrants were executed and 300 shotgun rounds, four stolen vehicles, a motorcycle, laptop and other electrical goods were seized.
Police believe those arrested are connected with illegal street racing groups in Wellington and may be linked to a violent firearms incident in Waiwhetu earlier this year.
Most of those arrested have been remanded in custody.
