A woman has been killed in a farming accident near Gore.
The accident occurred on Sunday when grain was been transferred from a truck to a silo.
The 48-year-old suffered head injuries and died at the farm, in the Waikaka Valley.
The police believe there was a mechanical failure.
Officers and the Department of Labour are investigating.
