Four people have been hospitalised after a suspected drink spiking incident in Napier.
Police say the four people collapsed in the early hours of Sunday morning while drinking at the Cri Bar in the central city and suspect their drinks were spiked late on Saturday night or in the early hours of Sunday morning.
There are reports the four experienced convulsions and vomiting and they were taken to Hastings Hospital.
The police would not speculate on what may have been put in their drinks.
But the police would like to speak to anybody who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the Cri Bar on Saturday night or Sunday morning or who had similar experiences in any other Napier bar.
