Investor welcomes SFO charges

A woman who lost $480,000 in the failed investment firm B'On Financial Services says she has lost everything and has no hope of getting her money back.

The Serious Fraud Office has charged co-directors Michael and Jacqueline Bradley with 87 charges of theft and misusing documents.

The SFO alleges they defrauded approximately 85 investors of more than $15 million in a Ponzi scheme before putting the company into voluntary liquidation a year ago.

Kate McDermond says that, while she welcomes the prosecution of the couple, it is cold comfort.

She says she has lost everything and that is just awful.
