A missing Bay of Plenty man has been found lying semi-conscious in a drain.
The man, 77, who has dementia, had been missing from his Waihi home for more than a day when he was discovered on Thursday evening.
Police say an infra-red camera on an helicopter was used to find the man who has been taken to Tauranga hospital suffering from hypothermia.
