Isaiah Nathan was killed when the overloaded station wagon he was driving crashed into a fence in Manurewa on Wednesday morning.

Child, Youth and Family says the boy had been in its custody since April last year and was was most recently living with caregivers in Kaitaia until he ran away in September.
