Police have released the names of two people found dead in the Auckland suburb of Pakuranga at the weekend.
They were Jacqueline Allister, 26, and Ivor Christiansen, 36.
Police received a call from a teenage girl just after midnight on Sunday reporting a domestic argument. When they arrived at the house they found two bodies with knife wounds.
Post-mortems are taking place on Monday and no one else is being sought in connection with the deaths.
Neighbours say the couple moved into the home within the past six months. Police say they had three children aged between two and nine who are now being cared for by relatives.
