The Christmas holiday road toll has risen to three with the death of a motorist in Raupunga in northern Hawke's Bay.
The crash occured on Putere Road at about 7.30am on Monday.
Police say there were a number of people in the car, some of whom were taken to Wairoa hospital.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
