One person was injured in a street brawl in Kaikohe.
Police received reports of fighting and cars being struck with baseball bats just before 8.30pm on Monday.
The armed offenders squad was called out to the incident in Bisset Road, but then stood down.
Police say one person had minor injuries. No arrests were made.
