Student Job Search says the amount of work available for students is on the rise.
The organisation says the number of job listings it has received in the past six months is 20% higher than in the same period a year ago.
That follows a drop of as much as a third during the worst of the recession.
A survey result published by Union of Students' Associations this week showed 65% of students worked last year, down from 90% three years ago.
But Student Job Search says its listings are now back to 2008 levels, though they have not yet reached the highs of 2007.
