The father of one of the women who fell severely ill while holidaying in Thailand says she and her friend are recovering well.
Sarah Carter, 23, of Wellington, died about a week ago after eating at a food market.
Her friends, Emma Langlands and Amanda Eliason, both 24, are in Chiang Mai hospital.
Health officials are still investigating what made them ill.
Rick Langlands says his daughter has been getting excellent healthcare, but he's not sure when she and Ms Eliason will be able to return home.
