Police have released the name of a woman killed at her home in the Auckland suburb of Pakuranga.
Titiksha Uday Desai, 45, died after she was attacked on Sunday.
Police have described the incident at an address in Aberfeldy Avenue as a domestic one.
A man, 47, has been charged with murder.
