A nitric acid spill at a Dunedin brewery has been contained.
Emergency services responded to the incident at Speight's Brewery about 6pm on Thursday where 300 litres of acid had leaked.
A spokesperson from the Fire Service says the contained acid, which was reacting with an unknown substance, has been appropriately disposed of.
A cordon set up at Lower Rattray street has been removed.
