A man charged in connection with the discovery of a baby's body in the backyard of a Wellington home has had the charge against him withdrawn.
The man, whose name has been permanently suppressed, was charged with disposing of a child's body with intent to conceal the fact of its birth.
The charge was withdrawn in January in the Wellington District Court and a final suppression order made on all details of the case.
The child's mother, whose name is also suppressed, will reappear in court in March.
