About 60 fire fighters are battling a blaze at a factory in the Auckland suburb of Penrose.
The Fire Service says they received several calls from the public about 9pm on Monday, with callers saying they could see black smoke and flames from the Pay Less Tyres building.
A spokeswoman says about 15 fire appliances were at the scene.
