The breakdown of a locomotive that moves trains in the Wellington railyard has caused delays of at least half an hour for commuters on Monday morning.
KiwiRail says the train broke down and blocked access to Wellington station for a time.
It says the delays will be up to an hour by the end of the morning peak.
