Wellington's lines company says power has been restored to all its Lower Hutt customers.
Wellington Electricity says about 750 customers lost power in the Woburn area shortly before midnight on Monday night when a cable fell down.
Police say they received a number of calls about the power cut, and some traffic lights were out in the area.
