Nine people have been taken to hospital in Whanganui following a crash between a school bus and a car.
The crash happened at 6pm on Thursday in Marton, at the intersection of Pukepapa and Makirikiri Roads.
The sole occupant of the car is understood to have suffered serious injuries.
Others in the bus sustained moderate or minor injuries.
