7:31 pm on 14 March 2011

A man has been found guilty of attempting to murder a police officer.

Neshanderan Rajgopaul, 29, has been on trial at the High Court in Auckland over the shooting of Constable Jeremy Snow multiple times in South Auckland in 2009.

He faced 10 charges in total.

He was found not guilty on only one of them, a charge of unlawfully possessing a firearm.

Rajgopaul's defence claimed the actual shooter was an associate, Darrin Court, who was a Crown witness.
