A Swedish tourist has been found dead at the bottom of a waterfall, after an extensive search in Nelson Lakes National Park.
Ivar Sturesson-Bolin, who was 25, arrived in New Zealand a week ago.
He became separated from a companion while hunting in the Shift Creek area on Saturday and failed to make a rendezvous at Coldwater Hut.
A helicopter, specialist rope teams and two dog teams conducted extensive searches before the man's body was found on Monday morning.
Police say he probably died from injuries sustained in a fall down a cliff face.
