Prince William arriving on Thursday

Prince William arrives in New Zealand on Thursday to meet the Christchurch and Greymouth communities hit by tragedy in the past six months.

The prince will arrive in Auckland and fly to Christchurch in the afternoon before visiting Greymouth for a private meeting with families of the victims of the Pike River mine disaster.

Returning to Christchurch, on Friday he attends the national memorial service for victims of the 22 February earthquake.
